N-able’s HR Department is built around fostering an environment of belonging and keeps people at the center of everything we do. From hiring to engagement to recognition, our work is anchored by our values: N-rich Lives, N-spire Others and N-joy the Journey. We look to these values as our north star to improve the lives and experience of N-ablites through traditional and non-traditional HR methods.

Here are some of the initiatives uniquely designed to boost engagement and connection across 15 countries and nearly 2,000 N-ablites around the globe:

    N-ablite Learning

In 2024, N-ablites completed 5,000+ N-ablite Learning hours and 170 N-ablites have participated in our Mentoring Program since inception. We have a robust Career Path site, where we have developed over 400 job descriptions to help N-ablites discover how they can take charge of their careers, and we continue to offer unique development programs and opportunities to support N-ablites on their learning journeys.

New Hire N-tegration is an interactive onboarding program providing new hires an opportunity to meet with our leadership team, learn more about our values and N-ablite Value Proposition, and discover how they can enhance our culture.

    N-ablite Engagement:

As a part of our engagement strategy, our global HR Team creates a number of impactful initiatives that foster a unified N-able culture while at the same time celebrating what makes each of our Collaboration Hubs around the world unique. From Wellness initiatives like meditation sessions and healthy eating workshops to N-ablite Giving where our N-ablites donated over 3,800 hours from VoluNteer Days to local non-profits, we’re working to provide meaningful experiences to our people.

In addition, we strive to ensure every N-ablite knows their voice is heard, their work makes a difference, and that they are welcomed and valued.

Diveristy, Equality and Belonging (DEB) is a widely communicated focus area for our company and we have a holistic strategy focused on attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. Whether our N-ablites are participating in one of our Communities of Interest (COIs), leveraging their 2 fully-paid VoluNteer Days to support a non-profit organization in their community, or engaging in meaningful learning opportunities, they’re building our culture of belonging.

There is a dedicated position on our team focused on DEB outreach and community building. We have also had the opportunity to speak at global career fairs and community events as well as participate in key conferences to build our talent pipeline.

We provide education and engagement programming monthly to commemorate key observances, such as Lunar New Year, Black History Month, International Women's Day, Pride Month and more. We also launched a Women’s Leadership Summit where we brought together a cohort of N-able women leaders from all over the world to drive culture transformation and execution excellence.

    Prioritizing Feedback:

We evaluate our culture using both quantitative and qualitative feedback. Twice a year, we host our N-ablite Engagement Survey collecting N-ablite feedback to help shape the company’s culture and experience. We leverage the results to develop key action plans across the organization.

When analyzing our annual 2024 N-ablite Engagement Survey, we were proud to see positive scores across a number of categories, including overall Engagement Score of 86% (up 9% since survey launch in 2021) and Participation Rate of 90% (up 8% since survey launch 2021). It’s motivating to see this positive progress year over year reflecting how the initiatives above are supporting and fueling engagement across our organization.

We make it a priority to provide additional ways for employees to share feedback – through formal channels such as Ask Me Anything sessions with our leadership or informal channels like our N-ablite News mailbox.

Employee engagement and feedback is critical to business success and our 2024 objective to Deliver an Extraordinary N-ablite Journey remains steadfast. Now, in 2025, we will continue elevating our journey as we Empower N-ablite Excellence.
