Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) is a division of Raytheon Technologies, the second largest aerospace and defense company in the world. They specialize in developing advanced sensors, training, and cyber and software solutions — delivering the disruptive technologies its customers need to succeed in any domain, against any challenge. The project was to concept, write, design and shoot a film that shows the depth and breadth of the RIS business. Original footage was shot in RIS locations, with RIS people, featuring the products and technology offerings of the company. Original animations were produced to show RIS technology at work in customer situations. The film was shot in 10 locations over 2 ½ months. The location shooting crew was comprised of 16 people, plus employee and actor talent. Original 3D photorealistic animations of RI&S products in use in the field were developed over six months. Post-production/creative editorial was executed over a 12-week period. An original music score was written and recorded for the soundtrack. It was a large product to manage, with lots of moving parts. The production team kept the project on-budget and on-schedule, successfully meeting the client delivery deadline.
