    CISA’s Secure Our World program aims to reach hundreds of millions of Americans, spurring them to change their cybersecurity behaviors to better protect everyone online. The centerpiece of the campaign’s launch is this PSA.

    Our objective was to produce a video that would engage viewers visually and aurally while delivering a persuasive message and a simple call to action. The video introduces a relatable family and illustrates how they take simple actions to protect themselves and their loved ones online. It encourages audiences to go to the website for more information on how to secure their digital activities.

    With our partners, we distributed several versions of the PSA (60s/30s/15s in both English and Spanish, and versions with the texts also voiced) via a donated broadcast TV campaign, laying the groundwork for paid television placements. We distributed the PSA to 2,100 network and cable television stations across all television markets nationwide. In its first six weeks, the PSA aired more than 8,000 times over 120 stations and four networks. Paid TV results are on track to reach over 20 million impressions.
