Rather than chase scale, we prioritized strategic focus—walking away from $2.5M in low-margin business which reduced our client base by 40%. This sharpened our portfolio, allowing us to spend more resources the 20+ clients who have been with us for more than 10 years, and lifted profit margins to nearly 25%, and enabled reinvestment in people, platforms, and innovation.
