Briefly describe this entry’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 125 words):

The objective was to create an internal communications video showing the positive impact Colgate-Palmolive Company’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures initiative has on employee volunteers and the communities it serves.

This was achieved by revealing the program’s purpose and accomplishments as seen through the eyes of volunteers, program leaders, teachers, principals, and students. Supporting b-roll images show the program in action during actual dental van visits.

The resulting video showcases how the program supports Colgate’s social responsibility goals by providing children in under-served communities free dental screenings and education that help them build healthy habits, self-esteem and a foundation for success.

The video’s success resulted in expanded usage: it was also shown at a Board of Directors meeting and is currently showcased on their external website.
