To say Sharon Corini is the “Best Support Staffer” seems to belittle the impact
Sharon makes at Jan Marini Skin Research, Inc.  There is not one department, not
one executive, not one person who Sharon does not support, assist, and guide. 
Simply put, she is the “Best Support Staffer” in both action and in spirit.

As the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of an international
skin care manufacturing and distribution company, Sharon certainly has her hands
full.  From assisting with the procurement of packaging, marketing materials, and
promotional items, to trafficking the numerous requests for purchase orders,
product approvals and vacation time submitted to the EVP, Sharon juggles her
own responsibilities with a sense of composure and confidence that comes with
experience.  She oversees the entire staff of support personnel, fully understanding
every aspect of each job, and training new support personnel as they come to the
company.

“Sharon is truly a blessing, “said Executive Vice President, Nancy Felker.  “Her
organizational skills are exceptional and she keeps excellent project records.  She
can give the latest updates on projects immediately.  Her demeanor is always
pleasant, no matter what is asked of her.

“Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for Sharon: for who she is, for the things
she does, and for our friendship.”

What makes Sharon truly exceptional is that while her assigned tasks could fill
the hours of her day, she never turns away a request for help from anyone in the
company.

For example, the Technical Support Administrator took an extended maternity
leave, creating a hole in that department. Sharon graciously agreed to step in to fill
part of the void and register attendees for JMSR Continuing Education Seminars. 
She registered attendees, processed payments, completed certificates of
completion, even designed name tags and welcome packages for over 400
attendees…without skipping a beat in her own duties.  At the time Sharon was
also charged with counting an inventory of product bottles in storage, orchestrating
an office expansion, creating “gift baskets” brimming with product for clients, and
contending with a “moody” copy machine.  Even with all this on her plate, Sharon
still made the time to organize and execute an amazing Holiday celebration for the
staff.

To hear her on the phone with a customer is truly wonderful.  You know no matter
what the issue, the person on the other end of the line hung up knowing they were
in good hands…and feeling confident that they had been heard. 

Sharon’s professionalism, communication, grace and pose remind us of a time
when emails didn’t replace the interpersonal relationship of a phone call and
people were at the heart of every business transaction.  Her joy, cheer, and
friendship mean more to many at JMSR than her ability to multi-task…and without
her, we would truly be worse for wear. 

She is a calm reminder that anything, no matter how large a mountain it seems
you are about to climb, CAN be done…and can be done well.

Sharon Corini is a native to California's Bay Area.  She currently resides in
Hollister, CA with her husband.  When she is not taking care of everyone at Jan
Marini Skin Research, she is taking care of her family -- including her four
legged "children", her much loved labradors.  Her amazing life includes a loving
family, race horse breeding, and happy, healthy children and grandchildren.
