Founded in 2008, the Canvas Learning Management Platform continues to perform routine system updates to support its growing concurrent user base. In March 2020 when the COVID19 pandemic hit, Canvas nearly tripled its increase in usage, increasing from 2.2 million to 6 million users learning simultaneously and upheld its promise to 99.9% uptime to support educators and students through the abrupt shift to online learning.
