Keeping in line with Harrah’s ultimate objective of enhancing the gaming
experience, in 2004 Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. purchased Binion’s Horseshoe
Hotel and Casino.  With this acquisition, Harrah’s Entertainment acquired the
World Series of Poker Tournament, and inherited the domain,
worldseriesofpoker.com.  The objective of the site is to serve as a wealth of
information for World Series of Poker enthusiasts, featuring the following
resources:  Event registration, tournament schedules, circuit tournament
schedules, tournament rules, ESPN broadcast schedule, hotel reservation
information, and the WSOP e-store.

Result:  The site now receives over 1 million hits a month.
