Weighing 1.9 lbs., the R8 offers ultimate mobility while packing ultimate power. Its Pentium® Gold CPU performs up to 450% faster than similar devices running on Intel® Atom® processors, and up to 800% with Intel® Core™ processors. Intel® Iris Xe Graphics boost computing power to process large amounts of data, images, and video feeds in real time, providing a reliable mobile solution supporting digital and remote operations for diverse applications.
The R8 is purpose-built to manage the heaviest workloads while standing up to the harshest, most hazardous environments including oil and gas, and mining. Its fanless design helps keep unwanted materials out of the tablet’s interior. Certified latest Military standard MIL-STD-810H and IP66 testing for drop, shock, vibration, rain, dust, altitude, freeze/thaw, high/low temperature, temperature shock, and humidity, the R8 can withstand drops of up to six feet. ANSI/UL C1D2 verifies it is safe for use where flammable gases or vapors might be present.
