The purpose of the Documentum product catalog is to provide customers and the
sales force with a comprehensive guide to all of Documentum's products and
solutions. In addition to listing product descriptions, functions and benefits, the
catalog provides a clear map of how all the products fit together as well as easy-to-
understand sections that describe how various sets of products are combined to
form industry and technology solutions. Prior to the catalog publication, sales and
customers relied on a very large collection of data sheets and solution briefs for
information. They were missing the high-level view that brought everything together
into a concise, easily understandable picture of our product set. The Documentum
product catalog accomplishes that goal.
