New version of an existing product: Across Q3 2022, we released several key AI-based innovations that fundamentally changed our product and the way we detect plagiarism. In our latest offering, we released an update that helps us to stay ahead of cross-language plagiarism — a new and quickly growing form of plagiarism — allowing our millions of worldwide users  to detect cross-language attempts in nearly 30 languages (more than any other platform).  Additionally, given how content is continually evolving, we released an updated version of our platform that can detect potential plagiarism in real-time, genuinely redefining the very nature of plagiarism detection, and making us the only offering to do so.

Each day the world’s largest businesses and educational institutes—along with millions of thousands of students —trust our exclusive AI-powered text analysis to identify potential plagiarism and paraphrasing across nearly every language, verify authenticity and ownership, and empower error-free writing.

Utilizing AI technology, we aim to solve real-world problems that arise, allowing us to go beyond just word-for-word plagiarism detection. For example, the recent development of our Cross-Language Detection Scan is an effort to stay ahead of a new form of plagiarism that is on the rise within the educational and business worlds. We are also the only solution that can detect paraphrasing in multiple forms, along with being the only platform that can detect plagiarism in source code, with the capability to read over 20 coding languages. In addition, using OCR technology, our millions of clients can upload images of physical documents for scans, making us the only platform that can detect image-based text plagiarism.

On a global scale, we recently launched the Copyleaks Global Data Centers. This launch helped us fulfill the requests of our international customers to have their data and processing securely located closer to wherever they are across the globe. Plus, our new global data centers allow government organizations to have a single, dedicated server that they can then share. So, for example, the Canadian government can request one server dedicated solely to their content and data that can then be shared with multiple schools and other organizations within Canada, keeping the data safe, secure, and contained.

Copyleaks is dedicated to cultivating secure environments for confidently sharing ideas and learning. In everything we do, we aim to help develop a clear concept of plagiarism in all its forms and present any case as an opportunity for learning and growth. As part of those efforts, we invest heavily in our products and data security to meet the needs of our clients and student users.

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Outline the market performance, critical reception, and customer satisfaction with the product or service to date. Copyleaks has millions of users worldwide including students looking to prevent accidental plagiarism and paraphrasing in their assignments, universities including Harvard, Georgetown University, Duke, Emory, and a wide-range of community colleges who have integrated Copyleaks into their Learning Management Systems (LMS). The Copyleaks enterprise client base includes United Nations, Microsoft, Accenture, and Edgenuity who leverage an API to seamlessly integrate plagiarism detection into their native platforms.

Where other platforms only detect word-for-word plagiarism, Copyleaks is just beginning. Powered by AI-based text analysis and NPL, Copyleaks is the only platform that can detect paraphrasing in multiple forms, plagiarism in source code, and image-based text plagiarism.  With a 97% renewal rate and rave reviews, it’s evident the market needed a better solution to verify authenticity and empower error-free writing.

"Copyleaks was a great fit because now faculty can check against a large database of works as well as previous student submissions, thus providing new opportunities for teaching and learning. Faculty appreciate that there’s a solution built directly into our LMS, and that there are robust reports they can use to guide their discussions with students. Most importantly, it helps students and faculty maintain a high level of academic integrity." Dan Arnold, IT Manager, Oakland University

Award Force chose the Copyleaks API as our plagiarism checker; we held a contest and it only took four days to handle the problems exposed by over 2,700 entries from 13,000 participants. Copyleaks’ support for this effort was outstanding. We were able to use plagiarism detection effectively, and it played a major role in our success.” Al Globus, Editor-in-Chief, National Space Society

To keep up with the growing demand their employee base grew over 300% in 2022 and in 2023 the company plans to continue scaling the team and release dozens of new AI-based innovations and products.
