Cloudrise was founded in October 2019 by business and security entrepreneurs with experience in global markets, successful start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Cloudrise, the leadership team founded and built InteliSecure and grew to 200+ people with a successful exit, then were hired by Deloitte to build and scale their Cloud Cyber Risk business.
In 2020 Cloudrise conquered the seemingly impossible, launching a new company amidst a global pandemic and economic downturn. Despite those challenges, Cloudrise had a successful year one in business, exceeding 2020 revenue targets, securing capital investments through investors, and delivering Managed Services and Security Process Automation to over 50 customers.
Businesses are powered by data, and the exponential growth of that data increases cyber risk exposure. Combining two decades of data protection expertise with automation, Cloudrise focuses on securing data wherever it resides. They assist organizations by assessing, enabling, automating, and managing their data protection and privacy programs. What sets us apart? Cloudrise automates operational processes across data protection solutions, business applications, and visualization tools, to optimize manual processes, enhance reporting, and provide faster incident response.

*Cloudrise’s Security Process Automation services are a key differentiator in the marketplace. Organizations are dependent on data stored within a myriad of systems, requiring integration and automation to enable them to work at the speed of business. Cloudrise automates operational processes across data protection and privacy solutions, business applications, and visualization tools, to optimize manual processes, enhance reporting, and provide faster incident response. Starting with an assessment, we identify use cases, develop playbooks, and ultimately build, deploy, and manage the automation.
Cloudrise's competitors are cybersecurity services firms that provide professional services and managed security services focused on data security and data privacy. Our main competitors include Optiv, Accenture, NTT Data, PWC, Secureworks, and InteliSecure (recently acquired by Proofpoint).
Data protection services are not new to the marketplace and admittedly, we are competing against some heavy hitters who are able to assign more and more resources to address customers' data protection challenges. For the past 20 years we have watched the competition throw more people at the data protection challenge, so we asked ourselves – how can we do it different and better at Cloudrise? We can automate. We are automating manual, redundant processes so Cloudrise and customer resources alike can spend their valuable time on more strategic initiatives.
Cloudrise’s Security Process Automation services enable orchestration and automation of processes across disparate technologies, applications, and reporting tools -- tasks that are primarily manual across siloed technologies today. We develop integrations across multiple disparate inputs and outputs to drive increased productivity, targeted risk-based reporting, and enable faster incident response.
As Cloudrise grows, we will continuously innovate and build on our existing automation (Teaser for the 2021 Stevie awards: stay tuned for news about our proprietary platform!). Our customers and managed services team alike will need to continually and rapidly provision data security solutions and automate tasks historically performed by multiple humans, with the goal of reducing headcounts, increasing profit margins, decreasing operating expenses, and driving significant, positive variances to EBITDA and shareholder value.
