In 2021, Chamberlain Group promoted COO Jeff Meredith into the CEO role. What followed was a period of rapid organizational change. By 2024, Jeff realized the CG culture hadn’t changed with the company transformation. He asked the Corporate Communications team to design a unique and creative communications channel that would consistently reinforce the company values as they relate to business objectives, and give him a platform to address employees directly, role model the values and behaviors, and help drive the desired cultural change.

The solution: a monthly video series, myQuick Updates (the name references CG’s myQ app), with four consistent content pillars –business updates, employee recognition, customer-centric content, an employee-generated content segment to spur engagement. In each episode, Jeff demonstrates all five company values—Creative, Bold, Passionate, Authentic, and Fun—as he addresses employees with his characteristic transparency and candor.

myQuick Updates proved a phenomenal success! Employees say they appreciate Jeff’s direct approach to business updates and enjoy seeing the surprisingly hilarious and relatable side of their CEO. As the series enters year two, both engagement and performance results indicate a positive shift in company culture, at least partially attributable to this unique approach to internal communications.
