Santa's One Stop Integration Shop was published to create brand awareness for Carolina Handling and to differentiate it from other material handling integrators in a unique, engaging and interactive way. The children's holiday book touts Carolina Handling's continuing evolution from a forklift-only provider into an intralogistics solutions company by following the implementation of an integrated distribution warehouse and by featuring intricate pop-up designs to illustrate company products such as flow racking, a very narrow aisle wire guidance orderpicker, a spiral vertical conveyor and vertical lift module.
Books were mailed to Carolina Handling customers, potential customers and community partners as a holiday gift. Extra copies were sold online at SolutionsforSanta.com, with proceeds benefiting the youth literacy program at Literacy Together in Asheville, NC, where needs have grown since Hurricane Helene tore through western North Carolina in late September 2024.
We have received numerous emails and texts from book recipients who included photos of them reading the book to their children. The book has opened the door for many sales conversations with customers who previously knew Carolina Handling only as a forklift company. From a community standpoint, we were able to donate $5,000 to Literacy Together from book sales.
