    Fair Harbor is a purpose-driven brand that was founded with the goal of reducing plastic waste in the water and at the beach, converting more than 30 million recycled plastic water bottles into stylish beachwear. Traditionally, their product offerings were geared toward men, until 2022 when they decided to introduce its womenswear line. The company tapped Belardi Wong due to their expertise in direct mail and knowledge of increasing the awareness of DTC brands for both female and male shoppers.

    Fair Harbor had two goals when creating their May 2022 campaign. One was to introduce women to their clothing and swimwear by tailoring the first mailing to cater to both sexes while introducing their new womenswear. The second goal was to increase awareness by launching this mailer during the prime swimwear buying season.

    The May 2022 catalog went extremely well. Year over year, this was 24% better ROAS than May 2021 at double the circulation. [REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION] Over 1,000+ of their first-time purchasers made a second purchase due to the mailing, increasing the value of those customers.
