Arteris, founded in 2004, is the pioneer of commercially available network-on-chip (NoC) IP technology which enables the connectivity fabric on a semiconductor and accelerates its creation across today's electronic systems. Its NoC interconnect intellectual property (IP) and system-on-chip (SoC) integration software allow for higher product performance with lower power consumption and faster time to market, delivering better SoC economics for all things electronics.

    [REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION]

Its technology has been incorporated into 3.6 billion SoCs that are found in automotive, AI, enterprise computing, consumer electronics, communications and industrial applications. Arteris has successfully satisfied the evolving needs of 200+ customers, who represent some of the world's most innovative companies such as Mobileye, NXP, Samsung, Bosch, Microchip, and Tenstorrent just to name a few.

In 2021, Arteris was publicly listed on Nasdaq and has maintained its focus on product innovation along with scalable growth. The international team consists of 250+ world-class engineers and domain experts.

  4. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this second question: Outline the organization's achievements since the beginning of 2023 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

    Total 221 words used.

Arteris has continued to drive innovation in on-chip connectivity and SoC integration automation to accelerate semiconductor designs. It has expanded its clientele and partner network and introduced new enhancements across its product lines.

The most recent product updates include the launch of FlexNoc 5 Physically Aware NoC interconnect IP; NoC tiling innovation for faster development of AI and ML compute in SoC designs; and the expansion of Ncore cache coherent interconnect IP to accelerate leading-edge electronics design. Arteris holds 90 issued patents with an additional 100+ submitted patent applications.

Arteris NoC IP technology is agnostic, meaning it can work with any processor IP (Arm ISA or RISC-V ISA) and it supports various industry protocols. Many companies choose to partner with us to develop joint solutions to satisfy the needs of their most innovative customers. Since the beginning of 2023, there have been projects with Andes Technology, Arm, Esperanto Technologies, Fraunhofer IESE, MIPS, Semidynamics, and SiFive

Arteris’ technology is ISO 9001 certified and its cache coherent NoC IP product, Ncore, is ISO 26262 certified, which supports functional safety.

Today’s semiconductors are more complex than ever, integrating multiple processors, AI/machine learning units, graphics subsystems, safety and security plus memory channels. Arteris’ solutions transcend complexity and address the needs of the market by enabling efficient data movement, reducing chip size, and optimizing power consumption.

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the organization's past performance (up to 250 words):

    Total 239 words used.

Modern SoCs are increasingly dependent on advanced NoC technology to deliver the performance and scalability necessary to support evolving demands. As applications in AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and other compute-intensive fields continue to push the boundaries, the next generation of SoC design requires even more efficient NoC solutions. Instead of just processing data, modern electronics require SoCs that take decisions.

While these advancements open up exciting opportunities, they also introduce obstacles. SoC designers must now contend with expanding architectural complexity, accelerated time-to-market requirements, a shortage of specialized expertise, inefficient resource utilization, and fragmented toolchains.

This is exactly where Arteris' technology comes in. The company has established itself as an essential player in the industry by addressing the growing complexity. The technology is geared toward optimizing performance, power, and efficiency — solutions that are critical for modern electronic systems.

Arteris' technological impact is largely unique because it pioneered commercial NoC IP and it has been continuously advancing the technology for the past 20 years. It offers industry-leading support and is focused on the success of its customers. Its NoC interconnect IP has been integrated into 3.6+ billion electronic devices across diverse markets — few companies in this space can claim such widespread adoption.

Arteris’ rapid growth, ISO certifications, and partnerships with companies like Arm and SiFive demonstrate technological foresight and help redefine industry benchmarks. Paired with an impressive patent portfolio, these advancements reinforce Arteris’ role as an innovation leader.

  6. You have the option to answer this final question: Reference any attachments of supporting materials throughout this nomination and how they provide evidence of the claims you have made in this nomination (up to 250 words):
