In this issue we summarize the results of The 2003 American Business Awards. We recently changed the title of our newsletter to reflect the larger, international mission of The Stevie Awards.
Women Executives Dominate 2003 American Business Awards Other top female winners included Wendy Marlett, senior vice president of marketing with KB Home, as Best Marketing Executive, and Sue Powers, senior vice president of worldwide product solutions and CIO with Worldspan, an Atlanta-based travel-management software provider, as Best Product Development or Engineering Executive. The International Business Awards Are Coming In most ways the International Stevies will be like The American Business Awards, except that every company in the world will be eligible to participate. The program will be supported by a network of marketing representatives around the world. An international advisory board is in formation, and sponsorships are being solicited.
