Albertson’s is on a mission to take the chore out of planning, shopping and cooking. Enter Shoppable Recipes - where customers can discover 8,000+ exclusive, budget-friendly recipes, or create their own. Shoppable Recipes transform recipes into comprehensive grocery lists taking into account ingredient quantities to minimize waste and maximize savings. To seamlessly integrate meal preparation with shopping, we developed an engine capable of generating multiple recipe variations to accommodate diverse diets, allergies, and ingredient preferences leveraging culinary expertise from our professional dieticians and chefs. Customers can shop virtually any recipe using our generative AI solution which deciphers and transforms handwritten or text-based recipes into easy to shop ingredient lists. We provide information on calories and nutritional breakdowns to promote healthier choices. Our market-leading Budget Mode empowers customers to stretch dollars further. To make recipes truly shoppable, we devised a unique algorithm that maps recipe ingredients to specific products in our extensive catalog, taking into account local availability, stated dietary restrictions, and recipe constraints.
