2006 Call for Sponsors

STEVIE AWARDS ISSUES “CALL FOR SPONSORS” FOR

2006 AMERICAN AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS

Fairfax, VA – September 26, 2005 – The Stevies Awards, the organization that produces the American Business Awards and International Business Awards, has issued a Call for Sponsors for its 2006 programs.

The Stevie Awards are the first all-encompassing business awards programs honoring great performances in the workplace.

Sponsor visibility will commence in January 2006 with the Call for Nominations and continue through the awards galas in New York in June.  Through publicity and marketing campaigns, sponsors of the 2006 events will receive more than 2 million impressions across multiple media channels, including live videocasts and radio broadcasts of the ceremonies.

The 4th Annual American Business Awards will be open to all for-profit and non-profit companies operating in the U.S.A.  Sponsorships are packaged around groups of categories, such as those for marketing, human resources, and corporate web sites.

“This was a wonderful event and we’re looking forward to being a sponsor again in 2006,” said Julie Thomas, president of ValueVision Associates, the Sponsor of Sales Excellence in The 2005 American Business Awards.

The 3rd Annual International Business Awards will be open to all companies worldwide.  International Stevie Awards were presented in 2005 to companies and individuals in 22 countries including China, France, Germany and India.  In addition to category-specific sponsorships, a new “national” sponsorship level is available for 2006.

“I was very impressed with everything about The International Business Awards, from the exposure we received to an international audience, to the caliber of the winners and the distinguished members of its Board,” said Clare Hart, president and CEO of Factiva, a Sponsor of Excellence in The 2005 International Business Awards.

“Sponsoring the ABAs or the IBAs is a very cost effective way to reach a high-level business audience throughout a seven month multimedia communications cycle,” said Michael Gallagher, President of The Stevie Awards.
