2005 AMERICAN BUSINESS AWARDSSM ANNOUNCE FINALISTS
Winners, Donald J. Trump To Be Honored June 6 in
Winners of The Third Annual American Business Awards will share the spotlight with Donald J. Trump, who will be presented the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Stevie Award at the June 6th event. Ali Velshi, host of The TurnAround on CNN, will emcee the gala ceremony, which will be held at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in
Nicknamed the Steviesfor the Greek word “crowned,” the coveted awards are designed by the same company that makes the Emmy, Clio, and other major awards.
More than 1,200 nominations were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best Human Resources Organization.
Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie winners from among the Finalists. Finalists were selected by business professionals nationwide during three months of preliminary judging.
The ceremonies will be videocast live on the Internet by Speedera Networks. They will also be broadcast on radio, commercial free, by the BusinessTalk Radio Network.
