Entries are no longer being accepted for The 2010 American Business Awards. 2011 entries will open in October 2010. In the meantime, we recommend that you consider entering the ABA's sister competition, The International Business Awards, which have similar categories and are open to all organizations worldwide. Entries for The 2010 International Business Awards will be accepted through June 9.
To prepare for The 2011 American Business Awards, you should
1. Join the ABA mailing list. You'll receive the 2011 entry kit by email as soon as it's available in October. The Entry Kit will contain everything thing you'll need to know to be able to prepare and submit entries.
2. Read through the Entry Forms and instructions in the Entry Kit. They list all of the categories you may enter and the entry requirements.
3. When you've prepared your entries, submit them by the entry deadlines. There will be two early-bird deadlines this fall. The ultimate deadline will be March 31, 2011, but late entries will be accepted through April 27, 2011 with payment of a late fee.
4. We strongly recommend that you submit your entries directly through the web site. It's easy to do. The first step is to register. To access the registration form, click here

The categories that recognize entire organizations, departments, teams, individuals, and new products typically require the submission of an essay of up to 500 words, describing the nominee's achievements since the beginning of 2010. It's very easy to submit these types of entries online. You can even pay your entry fees online.
The categories for advertising, web sites, video, and other forms of media typically require the submission of the nominated media element(s), either online or through the mail, plus a brief explanation of the submission's objectives and results (up to 100 words). Even if you'll submit your media element(s) offline, you can still submit your entries' paperwork online.
