Nomination Title: Jim Howard, National Accounts

Tell the story about what this nominee achieved since January 1 2008 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

As the Sales Director for National Accounts, Jim Howard sold over $2,388,000 in
new applications (238% to quota) and over $1M in renewal applications in 2008
(100% renewal rate of his current hospital group customers). As part of these
sales, he secured 9-year Sentri7 software agreement at the largest hospital
group in the U.S., as well as successful Sentri7 pilots for other large
healthcare systems, all of which should lead to system-level rollouts.

Jim also used his experience to help implement a sales training program for
Account Management and pharmacy sales teams utilized for all new hires, as well
as a sales training manual for standardized policies and procedures.
Jim secured partnerships with two large Group Purchasing Organizations to
co-market Pharmacy OneSource applications, resulting in incremental sales. He
also secured a partnership with the #1 pharmacy management company in the U.S.
for full rollout of the Quantifi software product.

Working in the international arena, Jim introduced Pharmacy OneSource products
into New Zealand market, partnering with largest hospital in the country.

What is most impressive was that Jim was able to achieve these results in 2008
where the current economic climate had forced a number of healthcare
organizations to delay their IT/software solution purchasing decisions.
