Project portfolio management (PPM) software originated for mostly IT organizations who had multiple projects and needed a solution. Traditionally, the interface is form-based with graphics solely in reports. Recently, the appeal of PPM has broadened to non-IT organizations and business executives. Métier saw the need to include these new communities in a creative, engaging way and designed a user interface that is customizable, integrated and team-centric. Métier incorporated familiar technologies, including map navigation, search and collaboration tools to provide organizations with a limitless canvas to collaborate, manage differing missions, methodologies and cultures across an organization. Since launching the new user interface in August, 2014, Métier has seen a 247% increase in website visitors and doubled the amount of leads converting to sales opportunities.
