Mix1 re-launched its website with the objectives of incorporating a large
volume of nutrition information about its all-natural protein drink and still
making the site fun for visitors. Mix1’s bottle is a unique shape and it became
the hero of the Web site. Built in Papervision3D and played in Flash, the
bottle is a full mathematical rendering that can be turned and flipped by
clicking on it. Since the re-launch, the average time spent on the site
increased from 3:14 to 5:11 minutes, pages viewed increased from 4.2 to 6
pages, and site visits increased from 33,000 to 42,000.
