Saraida De Marchena Kaluche is highly knowledgeable professional in Dominican Republic with 26 years of practice in communications, and vast experience as a P.R consultant. Under her leadership has contributed to the building, positioning and recognition of major brands, and public and private events, in her country and internationally. She has been known for its creative and innovative, always attached to the ethic, coupled with his leadership and passion in the practice of their profession.

The 2010-2011 was a year of many challenges for her. She was selected by the Dominican State to direct the Communications and Public Relations of the Commemoration of the Centenary of Dominican Aviation, historic event concluded with The Caribbean Air Show, a free event for all Dominicans. The Strategic Communication Plan that she run, allowed to sensitize and educate the population (child, youth, adults) unaware of t he subject, about the importance of the contributions made by the dominican Zoilo Hermogenes Garcia in global aviation, managed to close the event with assistance of more than one million people. In addition to her focus on her business and family, she has been involved in “Un Paso de Fe Foundation” for Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and the operating “Operation Walk DR”, which operate free of charge, poor patients for joint replacement of knee and hip. Achievement for the first time Un Paso de Fe Foundation was admitted to the most important Fashion Event in DR, Dominicana Moda 2011, thus being able to obtain financial resources to continue and to supply their drugs to AR patients with limited resources.

During her career she has earned several awards and distinctions. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 she was selected by the prestigious Revista Mercado amongst the top "Successful Women Entrepreneurs of Dominican Republic". In 2007, the international publication Summa® named her one of the top 75 entrepreneurs and executives of Latin America and the Caribbean. Honored in 2008 by the Latin American Federation of Schools of Communication / University of Seville and The European Institute for Communication and Development in Spain with the award to “Excellency in Public Relations, 2008”. In 2010, she was elected once more by Revista Mercado, as one of the top 50 Powerful and Successful women in Dominican Republic.

For 26 years has been successfully working in media, mainly television, having held various positions including news anchor, talk show host, variety magazines, and broadcasts of special events, international correspondent and independent television producer. As same as MC for important national and international events Official presenter for worldwide television transmission of the XII Latin American Summit of Heads of State and Government, held in Dominican Republic in 2002. She was also, speaker for the Central Electoral Commission in the official transmissions of Presidential, Congressional and Municipal election bulletin.

During her PR career, she has had to handle brands such as Gillette, Coca Cola, Ebel, Nescafe, Yobel, Outback Steakhouse, Wella, Courtyard by Marriot, Barrick Gold, Cap Cana, Millesime Cap Cana, Trump at Cap Cana, Ritz Carlton-Cap Cana, Sotogrande Cap Cana, Punta Espada Golf Course Signature by Jack Nicklaus, The PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour®–The Cap Cana Championship, 100 Years of Dominican Aviation, Cirque Eloize in DR, amongst many others. In Cap Cana, she personally handled PR in 9 countries: DR, Puerto Rico, USA, Venezuela, Colombia, Canada, Spain, England and Germany. She harmonizes her career with her family.
