Rita Agoulian is the food obsessed founder of Australian social media marketing agency, LickYourPhone Media, creating high impact, cost effective social media strategies for the hospitality industry.
LickYourPhone Media was created out of passion when Rita noticed too many great restaurants struggling and knew she could help them with her knowledge, love for business & experience in social media marketing. After quitting a full-time finance role to chase her dreams, it's been an obsession-fuelled rollercoaster of successes and failures, continuous learning, and a deep sense of purpose. Rita believes these are ingredients behind the exponential growth of LickYourPhone Media, jumping from two employees to 15 since October 2021.

New-to-the-scene Sydney restaurant Bistro Nido engaged LickYourPhone Media to make an impact from the very first customer touchpoint. Harnessing the power of social media influencer marketing and our understanding of what is trending on social media we generated serious buzz for Bistro Nido, reaching over 715,247 people organically without ad spend. In their first five weeks of business, Bistro Nido was booked out nearly every day, virtually unheard of for a newly launched restaurant. LickYourPhone Media has been a crucial support to the flailing hospitality industry in recent years, helping our clients grow by creating opportunities where there were none. We modernised our client’s social media strategies by utilising nano influencers on TikTok and Instagram and introduced innovative ideas like “Netflix and Chill” which enabled restaurants to remain open with a pivot to home delivery. We are continuously finding new ways to help our clients reach their customers in a significantly changed industry.
Rita also leveraged her social influence and expertise, creating viral videos to encourage the public to support local restaurants throughout this time.
