Nomination Title: The Centura Health Women’s Digital Mammography Campaign

March 2008. Direct mail was released first followed by print advertisements.

Campaign comprised of print and direct mail pieces targeting women, 35 -60,
within a 5-mile radius of mammography facilities.
Goals: Create awareness of digital mammography services offered at three Centura
Health Breast Centers located within their South Denver region hospitals; educate
woman 35-60 about digital mammography and its benefits; encourage appointments;
and show nearby, convenient locations.
Results: One hospital received “Best Mammogram” award in Westword’s Best of 2008
citing mammograms are ‘fun’ and inviting for women normally avoiding them.
Following one hospital’s women’s health fair, a record 30 women made appointments. Centers
also saw an increase in calls/visits to clinics.
