Tell the story about what this nominated organization achieved since January 1 2011 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

LifeLock, founded in April 2005, is an industry leader in the rapid growing field of identity theft protection. Fulfilling the vision of Chairman and CEO Todd Davis, LifeLock offers a proactive identity theft protection solution and a $1 million Total Service Guarantee. The proactive solution combined with the $1 million Total Service Guarantee has made LifeLock the clear choice for more than two million US consumers.

In 2006, LifeLock Chairman and CEO Todd Davis was looking to be disruptive in order to start a dialogue about the crime of identity theft. By announcing his real Social Security number during interviews and through the company’s advertising campaign, Davis started a national conversation. The combination of a proactive solution tied to the company’s $1 Million Total Service Guarantee positioned the organization for hyper-growth.

LifeLock’s consumer-based solution has created synergies with some of the most recognizable brands today including AOL, US Airways, Cabela’s, Marriott and American Airlines.

As an advocate for consumers, LifeLock works closely with regulators and legislators to help draft and improve laws to best protect consumers from identity theft. Additionally, LifeLock’s educational initiatives are at the core of the organization. Through partnerships with the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA) and the National Organization for Victims Assistance (NOVA), LifeLock has committed financial and staffing resources to educating law enforcement, victim advocates and consumers about identity theft. Since 2008, the organization has provided free training to more than 6,000 law enforcement officials and more than 22,000 consumers and advocates.

Looking toward the future, LifeLock will continue to be innovative in developing best-in-class solutions to relentlessly protect consumers from identity theft. Boasting nearly 500 employees, LifeLock is headquartered in Tempe, AZ with a development office in Irvine, CA. In March 2012, LifeLock acquired ID Analytics, a leader in enterprise identity risk management. ID Analytics operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of LifeLock and employees nearly 130 employees in San Diego, CA.

At LifeLock, employees understand and implement the vision, mission, culture and value system on a daily basis. The vision for the organization is to “protect all things personal.” The mission to achieve this vision is to be the industry leader in protecting all things personal. In order to achieve the mission, the organization has instilled a belief system and culture that supports and drives core values.

As a co-founder of LifeLock, Chairman and CEO Todd Davis introduced a belief system on day one that has been a driving force to date, “We will always do what we should, NOT what we can.” This belief system empowers employees to make decisions, without having to ask for permission, as long as they are guided by the principle of doing what they should. This culture has also led LifeLock to be recognized for five consecutive years as a “Best Place to Work” in Phoenix.

LifeLock finished the 2011 calendar year with $193M in revenue, more than double our company revenue from 2008.
