The central goal of Vemma’s annual Convention is to motivate, train and elevate
success with incredible speakers, new products and tools, and extravagant
recognition. The Vemma Power of Why Convention 2011, held February 10–13 at the
MGM Grand Hotel, was all of this and more!
Welcome to Why
Everyone has a reason for building a Vemma business, and this “Why” is each
Brand Partner’s greatest motivation. From T-shirts with personalized Whys, to
signing the Why Wall and incorporating their Whys into Success Profiles,
attendees learned the power of Why!
Founder & CEO BK Boreyko hosted a lavish reception at Las Vegas’s own Studio
54. Vemma branding, decor and footage flashed throughout the venue, sweeping
attendees into the excitement of the Power of Why!
From interactive floor graphics, to Power of Why branded escalators and
columns, the Verve Chopper, flashing signs, personal Why statements and a Why
Wall signed by all, the Vemma brand infused the setting with contagious energy!
Why Videos featuring Brand Partners interviewed on location played at the start
of General Session. Attendees were inspired by “The Power of You. The Power of
Why.” A series of approximately 20 videos capturing top leaders’ family and
friends secretly interviewed about their journeys to success were shown
throughout the event. Other videos featured topics such as branding, a new
charitable foundation, international highlights and a convention recap, which
was presented the last day.
A powerful lineup of speakers and trainers shared expert advice and
information. Speakers included heart surgeon and award-winning syndicated talk
show host, Dr. Mehmet Oz; Dr. Michael Roizen; The Sleep Doctor™, Michael J.
Breus, Ph.D.; “Mastermind of Potential” Bob Proctor; and publisher and editor
of SUCCESS magazine Darren Hardy.
Tools and Training
Just-launched Success Profiles for personal websites and the Vemma iPad
application offered enhanced marketing opportunities. Business-building
trainings led by Elite Brand Partners presented proven systems for success!
Brand YOU Center
This workshop showed best practices for use of social media, how to set up
Success Profiles, and even offered free professional photos for use in social
A cocktail reception and photo op featuring Doctors Oz and Roizen benefitted
HealthCorps®. Later, a $225,000 check was presented to Dr. Oz — a portion of
the $660,450 Vemma will have donated to HealthCorps by the end of 2011. A
$40,000 check was presented to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®,
representing contributions from Brand Partners and Home Office staff.
Awards and Recognition
Top income-earners were pampered with VIP treatment — from an “orange carpet”
greeting, to spa and golf outings, and special daily gifts — rewarding them
while motivating others to reach for success! A gala dinner and awards ceremony
