In the last two years, Univision Communications has quickly expanded, adding three new cable networks and digital offerings, while driving increased revenue and growth across its existing broadcast and cable networks, local television group and radio stations.

Univision’s assets include:

• Univision Network, the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast television network in the country
• UniMás, a leading Spanish-language broadcast television network
• Univision Cable Networks include”
O Galavisión, the leading Spanish-language cable network,
o Univision tlnovelas, a cable network dedicated to novelas,
o Univision Deportes Network, a 24-hour cable sports network
o ForoTV, a 24-hour Spanish-language cable news network, and

New Channel - Fusion

In 2014, ABC and Univision announced their joint venture news and lifestyle network for U.S. Hispanics called Fusion. "Fusion will bring together diverse cultures, voices and viewpoints," said Isaac Lee, president, Univision News. Five of the nation's biggest cable distributors agreed to carry the network.

New Digital Presence

Univision has a long commitment to Digital with UVideos, the first bilingual digital video network, Uforia, the leading Hispanic digital music service, and La Fabrica UCI, a new in-house digital content production studio.

In 2014, Univision launched a brand new digital network, Flama, the “first fully dedicated over-the-top network, like Netflix, providing premium English-language video programming for 15 – 30 year olds who are inspired and entertained by the Latin culture.

World Cup / App

Univision acquired all the rights for the 2014 World Cup in Spanish, both on television and digital. ESPN has the English rights.

Now available in English, The Univision Deportes app has added new features for the World Cup:
•live streaming of games with live scores. Games are stored for later viewing also
•Real time stats for each team
•clips of the game’s highlights and a quick highlight reel put together by Univision is available for every game

Results

Univision saw significant year-over-year audience growth at its sister network UniMas. Sports channel Univision Deportes held its position as the fastest-growing cable network among Adults 18-49 while Univision’s digital platforms reported a 23% jump in impressions. For 2013, Univision’s net revenue increased 10.5% over 2012

Randy Falco is president and chief executive officer of Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. Under his leadership, Univision has taken steps in its ongoing evolution from what was once a niche broadcast network to the general media multimedia powerhouse of today.

Mr. Falco led the Company’s 50th anniversary celebration by unveiling its new brand logo and tagline, identifying Univision as “the Hispanic Heartbeat of America.”

Mr. Falco holds an M.B.A. in finance and a bachelor’s of science degree, also in finance, from Iona College. He received an honorary doctorate from Iona College in 2001. Mr. Falco sits on the board of Ronald McDonald House and the Museum of The Moving Image.
