Nomination Title: Sophisticated with a Wink: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Web Site

When was this site or blog first published?

        July 2010

Briefly describe this entry’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 100 words). Include here the URL of the nominated web site or blog. IMPORTANT: begin the URL with http://, and enclose the URL in square brackets - e.g., [http://www.ourwebsite.com]:

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which opened in December 2010, is a premium
resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip. As a new property entering an already
crowded marketplace, they knew they had to stand out even before their doors
opened for business. iCrossing was enlisted to create the resort’s online
strategy, brand identity and new website
http://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com .  The new site allows visitors to explore
unique details of the resort with the help of dynamic content, social feeds and
vibrant imagery. Intuitive navigation, prominent booking paths and promotional
offerings help facilitate planning and purchasing.  Third-party components are
integrated seamlessly into the design, and a unique modular layout enables easy
updating and evolving of site elements. The end result is a website unlike any
other – setting The Cosmopolitan apart and attracting an entirely new market of
visitors to Las Vegas.
