Euclid's flagship service is Euclid Analytics, the most scalable, easy-to-use, consumer-friendly solution for measuring in-store shopper behavior. Introduced in November 2011, leading retailers use Euclid's actionable insights to optimize the performance of their marketing, merchandising and operations. Euclid provides visibility into unique-visitor-level metrics like Visit Duration and Visit Frequency that can't be measured with traditional traffic counters. Unlike analytics services that only measure shoppers who run a mobile app or connect to the store's Wi-Fi network, Euclid's technology enables retailers to measure the activity of all shoppers carrying a Wi-Fi enabled mobile device without interrupting their shopping experience.

At launch, the service required the installation of a compact, plug-and-play sensor provided at no charge. Most stores only required a single sensor per store. The company's client base quickly grew from a handful of pilot locations to more than 30 national apparel chains, quick-service restaurants, shopping malls, and department stores. However, even with such a straightforward setup, installing a dedicated sensor posed a logistical and IT challenge for large national chains with thousands of locations.

In January 2013, Euclid announced its Euclid Zero platform, the world's first one-click, hardware-free solution that gives retailers, malls, and other venues the ability to measure in-store behavior using their existing wireless infrastructure. The retailer’s IT manager simply turns on the Euclid feature in their Wi- Fi management console to enable all of their in-store access points to act as Euclid sensors. Euclid Zero works with access points from four of the leading enterprise Wi-Fi providers: Aerohive, Aruba, Fortinet, and Xirrus, with plans to add more in the future. By eliminating the need for dedicated sensors, costly in-store installation, and complicated configuration, Euclid Zero dramatically reduces the barrier to measuring shopper activity across an entire chain. Euclid Zero received positive coverage from TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and MIT Technology Review. We expect Euclid Zero to result in a significant acceleration in the adoption of Euclid services. Furthermore, through introductions from our Euclid Zero Wi-Fi partners, we are starting to build relationships with many of their largest retail customers.

Euclid's co-founder and CEO, Will Smith, leads the company's drive to empower brick and mortar retailers with unprecedented insights into real-world shopper behavior. Will's roots in the retail world run deep - his grandfather was an innovator in shopping center development and one-time chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Will, 28, previously worked as an analyst covering technology at Thomas Weisel Partners and holds a degree in International Relations from Stanford.
