Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:
At Coverall Cleaning Concepts, Franchise Owner support comes from many directions. In large part, the overwhelming team-like atmosphere is due to the core mission on which the Company prides itself. The Company’s mission statement is as follows:
We promote economic growth and independence for a culturally diverse group of prospective business owners through franchise ownership opportunities by providing customers, training, equipment, supplies, financing and support services. We also provide personal growth and professional development for employees through training and opportunities for advancement.
To achieve the objectives laid out in its mission statement, Coverall Cleaning Concepts currently operates 90 Support Centers, which are established to service the immediate needs of Franchise Owners and customers. Coverall’s corporate headquarters, the Global Support Center serves as an additional layer of support. The function of the Global Support Center is to provide Franchise Owners with the tools necessary for their success:
Accounting Assistance – Coverall provides business owners with account invoicing, collections and up to two months advance on receivables. This helps protect Franchise Owners from cash flow problems that can spell disaster for small companies.
Sales Assistance – Coverall offers complete training on how to prepare and make a sales call, how to construct a professional bid package, how to prepare a professional sales proposal and how to properly price services.
Operations Support and Training - The Operations Department provides complete customer service training, technical training in basic cleaning and certification training in carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance, and team cleaning. Since 2006, Coverall has expanded into the healthcare market and in 2007, Coverall introduced health-based hygienic cleaning in all of the facilities our Franchise Owners service. With that expansion, Coverall has expanded its already extensive Franchise Owner training programs to include training on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A.) standards, National Safety Council Bloodborne Pathogen Program, American Red Cross HIV/AIDS programs, Preventing Disease and Transmission and Bloodborne Pathogen Compliance, Disinfectant Chemistry, Aseptic Cleaning, Basic Microbiology, Safety and Security, Universal Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment.
To meet the needs of Franchise Owners for whom English is a second language, Coverall was one of the first franchisors to create the UFOC in both English and Spanish. In addition, Coverall provides Franchise Owner Fact Sheets in English, Korean, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Somalian.
To further support the personal lives of Franchise Owners, Coverall provides educational scholarships to the eligible, dependant sons or daughters of the Company’s Franchise Owners through the Coverall Foundation Scholarship Program. In 2007, The Coverall Foundation awarded 25 scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each to assist in these children’s’ pursuit of higher education.
For these reasons it is only appropriate that Coverall Cleaning Concepts be named “Best Support Organization.”
