Telemart was founded in 2014 by Ahmed Rauf Essa with a vision to bring Ecommerce to Pakistan and to digitally enable its 250 million people. In a short time, Telemart is now the 2nd largest E-commerce company in Pakistan and the only one to have an Omnichannel presence.
In the inaugural Middle East Stevie Awards, Telemart won two 2020 Gold Stevie Awards for Innovation in Shopping or E-commerce Websites, and for Most Innovative Startup of the Year.
Telemart has more than 150,000 products and is the only E-commerce brand in Pakistan selling exclusive brands and premium gold plated products such as i.e. mobile phones, laptops, watches, jewelry, and other accessories.
Telemart’s retail division has an expansion plan of more than 400 outlets by the end of 2025. They already started to open franchises across Pakistan and have partnered with telcos to increase the number rapidly, already onboarding more than 15,000 affiliates from the rural sector.
The Telemart Discount App, the second most popular app in Pakistan, is now applicable in more than 1000 locations and is expanding globally. The app is free for Telemart customers and has lifetime validity. And Telemart is the only platform to offer purchase protection/insurance, repair services, and warranties for its products.
Telemart has not yet raised any funds since its inception and has grown solely on its own funds, and on the reputation for quality and service they created for the consumers of Pakistan.
