We are nominating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) . This initiative shows our commitment to our employees and how both sides can benefit from this. By improving what we offer our team, we aim to increase employee happiness and engagement while also strengthening our brand. Our EVP is a true reflection of SAR’s unique culture and work environment. We know our practices affect our employees both at work and in their personal lives. That’s why we wanted to create an EVP that feels meaningful, and sustainable over time. We set guiding principles to focus on behaviors that help our business succeed, ensure our EVP aligns with what our employees value, differentiate us from our competitors, and reflect our core values.
Our EVP journey began in 2022 when we reviewed our company's mission, vision, and values to drive better business performance. Recognizing the importance of this, we updated and published our mission, vision, and values internally. In 2023, we conducted interviews and focus groups to identify what is important and meaningful to our employees. We analyzed this feedback to establish the foundational pillars of our EVP, ensuring that they aligned with SAR's strategy, mission, vision, and core values.
As we progressed, we concentrated on several key initiatives. We started by clarifying the purpose and goals of our EVP, laying a solid groundwork for what it needs to represent. Following this, we ensured that the EVP reflected the essence of our organization and supported our strategic direction. An emphasis was placed on connecting the EVP to our core values, highlighting our commitment to the principles that define our company. Listening to our employees throughout this process was important; we gathered their insights to understand what truly matters to them
In 2024, we successfully implemented our EVP, which includes enhancing employee rewards, developing career growth programs, and fostering a positive company culture. To promote this initiative, we launched a three-week campaign across all SAR branches to share the EVP with our team.
The results of our EVP initiative have been encouraging, especially in career development. SAR offers a supportive environment for professional growth. We provide training programs for entry-level positions and opportunities for experienced employees to broaden their skills. Our management training includes scholarships, workshops, conferences, and mentorship programs, along with the Masaraat program that outlines clear career paths.
Our focus on innovation and excellence has created a positive leadership culture at SAR. This supportive environment attracts great talent and keeps everyone aligned with our company’s goals, leading to shared success. We also emphasize how our employees make a real impact on customers, and the environment. A recent employee engagement survey showed a strong participation rate of 88%, confirming the success of our initiatives and positive workplace environment.
Regarding compensation and benefits, SAR provides a well-rounded package to enhance our EVP ensuring our employees feel valued and fairly compensated. When rolling out our EVP, we studied best practices and looked at other successful examples to find our strengths and areas for improvement. Open communication and teamwork were crucial throughout this process, and employee insights shaped every decision we made. Aligning our EVP with our mission and values was very important. We created a communication strategy that includes newsletters, digital displays, and workshops so that every employee understands and connects with our EVP.
