Based on the UAE's vision 2021-2025 aims to make UAE one of the most innovative countries in the world, as innovation is the foundation of life-quality and development, this comes in line with the National Agenda and the National Innovation Strategy, which focused on the health sector's vital role that will lead the innovation process in the future.In this context, Ministry of Health and Prevention is committed to instilling the principles and concepts of innovation practices in accordance with the best international standards at all strategic, organizational and operational levels, to achieve the real and qualitative advancement of services provided to all segments of society.
MOHAP has built Service Bus technology that helped in integration with the other Government Authorities, it automated many health services cater for the public: facilities, healthcare professionals and the public community like : Issue of a birth certificate , Issue of a death certificate and other Pharmaceutical and medical related , Doctor related, Medical technician and nurse related Pharmacist/ pharmaceutical related services.
One of the centralized integrated systems that developed is Birth and Death System which is One Stop Shop automated solution for data analysis that help putting health strategies and national KPIs. the system has three main services:

With the increase in services forecast, the project has assessed to achieve the SDGs goals , that aims mainly to achieve the sustainable in the products and environments.

MOHAP Integration project with the other authorities helped MOHAP to build Analytical centralized database, where the analytical tools would aid AI forecast and analysis.

- Optimized Operational Cost : Technology and machines replaced much of the work that was done by the hand pre-automation. According to the studies, average cost savings may reach of up to 30 percent within five years.
- According to the analysis, MOHAP operational cost were reduced significantly, however a slight addition of operational cost related to technology such as license, internet and networking related cost (that is bundled as part of a wider scope of services).
- Reduced cost related to paper printing (paper and ink)
- Reduced travel Cost : Automated services enabled savings on the travel cost that reached up to 60% of the total cost. Significant travel cost including accommodation, calls and flights/ car trips.

The automation enabled increased productivity by processing a higher number of applications per day and within a defined period of time
- Improved operational efficiency and flexibility : Automated services operates for 24/7 and scale up or down with demand, creating previously unavailable capacity and further increasing operational efficiency and flexibility.
- 95% of respondents consider that the automated method is affordable and more effective of the manual process mainly due to fast services that save time and money and its ease of use.
- The project follows UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025 that aims to orchestrate the whole-of-government approach that addresses the cross-cutting role of technology
