As part of CBI ongoing commitment to fulfill the UAE Leadership’s vision of establishing a globally leading innovation hub and digital economy, the Bank has showcased its vision of "Banking in the Future" at GITEX 2023. Together with renowned global partners, CBI blends advanced, patented technologies, including mixed reality, holographics, and AI, with a deep focus on customer experience. This reflects its enduring exploration of how customers will access banking services in the future. Visitors to the bank’s stand had the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art immersive interfaces to its new Virtual Avatar in a unique, fully holographic setting, offering a glimpse into CBI's future, where friendly and accessible service meets cutting-edge technology. This is aligned with our mission to cultivate prosperity and enduring relationships. Through this tech-centric showcase, CBI has unveiled its blueprint for a modern, inclusive, and forward-thinking experience that will not only serve banking but also benefit all other industries

At CBI, we believe in experimentation and iteration; we believe in building multiple use cases that explore new technologies and capabilities. That's why we returned to GITEX Global in 2023 with a new set of future use cases. It's important to note that these were not 'staged' activations for the event only - these are all 'live' technologies that we will continue to showcase in our branches to give more people a taste of what the future may hold.

Here are a few things we did:

1. Hologram + Chatgpt : We became the first bank in the world to pilot patented geo-spatial holographic tech, using Tekle Holographics patented technology & native ChatGPT through a partnership with Microsoft.

2. AI –Powered Interactive Avatars: We became the first bank in the country (if not the region!) to showcase motion operated, interactive virtual avatars in English and Arabic. You will soon be able to meet our avatars in one of our branches.

3. 3D Anamorphic Display: We became the first Bank in the country to use custom anamorphic displays (creating a full 3D experience) as a communication medium, a tech that will become embedded in our branches in partnership with MCH

4. Financial Literacy Game: We became the first bank in the country to build a hyper casual mobile game, in partnership with an Emirati gaming studio, to teach financial literacy in line with the vision of the UAE Central Bank.

5. Augmented Reality (AR): We became the first bank in the country to pilot a prototype of AR enabled cards powered by W3rlds.
