The Brain & Performance Centre is dedicated to pioneering brain health and medical advancements. The centre offers holistic treatment protocols centred around hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and personalized cognitive training designed to enhance recovery and improve the quality of life for patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, and age-related cognitive decline in adults, and cerebral palsy, some forms of autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, stroke and more in children. The centre also supports peak performance for elite athletes, providing innovative, drug-free methods to optimize cognitive and physical health. With a focus on personalized care, the centre stands out as a leader in delivering cutting-edge treatment in a luxury environment.

    1.Corporate Social Responsibility:

The Brain & Performance Centre is committed to making advanced healthcare accessible to children from diverse backgrounds. The Centre launched the "Brain & Performance Centre Cares Initiative" in collaboration with DP World, which allocates financial support for children needing this life-changing treatment. The centre has assessed and treated many children to date, helping those with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and traumatic brain injuries.

An additional CSR initiative is the centre's ongoing partnership with the Rashid Center for People of Determination, where free or subsidized assessments and treatments are provided to children in need. In a recent collaboration, the clinic assessed 20 children, selecting four who could benefit most from the advanced Youth Programme. This initiative covers the treatment costs through the fund and invites families to contribute where possible, creating a sustainable, pay-it-forward model. This enables the treatment of more children each year while ensuring long-term support for families. To date, every family who received treatment has also contributed back to the fund.

    2.Customer Service: Delivering a Five-Star Healthcare Experience

The centre has redefined customer service in the healthcare industry by integrating the hospitality model into medical care. Patients experience a seamless, five-star journey, beginning with personalized touchpoints that include valet service, concierge support, and direct patient assistance throughout their stay. Each client is assigned a dedicated client ambassador who oversees every aspect of their treatment, ensuring 24/7 availability and instant communication through a customized app. This approach eliminates typical healthcare challenges like long wait times and impersonal interactions, replacing them with tailored care.

Additionally, post-treatment follow-ups include continuous health monitoring through Garmin wearable devices, allowing the medical team to track patient progress remotely. This focus on post-care service has improved long-term health outcomes and boosted overall patient satisfaction.

3.Product Design & Development: Pioneering New Treatment Protocols

The Centre remains the only facility in the region offering an advanced HBOT protocol integrated with a personalized cognitive training programme called Brain HQ. This combination has been further developed and customized based on patients' individual needs, resulting in more precise and effective treatments, and improved clinical outcomes.

One of the centre's key innovations is its expanded use of HBOT protocols for paediatric care, especially for children with cerebral palsy, stroke, post-concussion syndrome and some forms of autism spectrum disorder. The centre has introduced adjustments to the oxygen delivery cycle within the chambers through ongoing research and development, optimizing patients' time breathing pure oxygen and the chamber pressure. This unique protocol has improved results, with paediatric patients significantly improving mobility, communication, and overall quality of life.

The centre's innovative approach to treating stroke and traumatic brain injury patients has delivered groundbreaking results. The centre introduced new assessment methodologies that allow for more accurate diagnosis using advanced brain imaging combined with cognitive and physical testing. This helps the clinical team set expectations for treatment outcomes. One remarkable story belongs to a child who initially arrived in a wheelchair and after completing the treatment programme, was able to walk with the assistance of a walker.
