As CEO of Barn’s, I am honored to lead a management team that, since 2018, has spearheaded innovative initiatives, driving tremendous growth, operational efficiency, and engagement across our expanding network of branches and production facilities. Through concerted efforts in growth management, financial management, brand leadership, and promotion of innovative practices, we positioned Barn’s as an industry leader and a preferred workplace. Below, I outline some key milestones that testify to our commitment to excellence and innovation.

    Growth Management and Expansion:

During the past couple of years, Barn’s has witnessed an unprecedented growth of a 50% increase in our branch network, amounting to 800 locations. It comes with a healthy 30% increase in sales and a 46% surge in transactions. Such a step-up in branch expansion and growth in revenue is incumbent upon our strategic vision and our effort to cater to the demand. We are particularly proud of our approach to scale: we have optimized our operations to maintain service quality and efficiency, which was highly instrumental in managing a larger footprint without compromising on standards.

Financial and Operational Efficiency through ERP Integration:

A major contributing factor in our ability to scale with efficiency has been the implementation of an ERP system. In fact, the integration of ERP has smoothed our financial and operational functions, giving us a more accurate and tightened grip on available resources. This is further complemented by a solid Material Requirements Planning system replacing the somewhat manual inventory tracking methods we had earlier. We have achieved considerable improvement in the supply chain resilience through the implementation of MRP, thus enabling tracking of critical stock items.

    Brand Leadership and Market Recognition:

Barn’s has taken huge steps in Brand Leadership, whereby it positioned itself as one of the top-class brands in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Today, we pride ourselves that we are the second-leading brand in Saudi Arabia, ranking third across the Middle East. Product innovation has been a very vital part of this brand success story. Over the last two years, we have launched several sets of new products (Turkish Shaken & Flat Croissant as examples) into the marketplace which immediately set market trends and helped further solidify the resonance and appeal of our brand. Complementing our product leadership is consistent recognition as one of the best workplaces, having been accredited with the prestigious certification as a "Best Workplace" as recently as December 2022, and holding the accolade for both 2023 and 2024.

    Employee Development and Talent Retention:

We in Barn’s believe that people are our biggest asset and have invested a great deal in their growth and satisfaction. We have reduced our employee turnover rate from 52.81% in 2022 to 24% in 2024 through a mix of targeted professional development and supportive workplace culture. Professional certification and advanced leadership training have been made possible through specially designed training programs for managers. These programs are tailor-designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow who will be better equipped to lead Barn’s through the next phase of growth.

    Commitment to Innovation in Practice:

Innovation is the lifeblood driving everything that happens at Barn’s. From our operation adopting the latest technology to constant refining of the brand and product portfolio, everything has deep roots in driving forward-thinking practices. Such a commitment takes, for example, a form of the ERP and MRP systems. These enable us to optimize resources utilization and substantially improve productivity overall.
