The 29th Annual Joint Women's Leadership Symposium (JWLS) was held on June 14-15, 2016, and was hosted by the Sea Service Leadership Association and produced by Susan Davis International. JWLS is one of the largest gatherings of military women in the nation. The event empowers attendees from each service branch by providing them with leadership training, networking, and mentorship opportunities. One of this year’s goals was to engage a global audience, and SSLA was honored to host delegations from Canada, the Republic of Korea, Sweden, and Norway. Of participants surveyed, 98% agreed that training provided at the symposium would be beneficial to their job performance and 90% responded stating events like JWLS are impactful to their attitudes towards continuing their military service.
