Katherin Nukk-Freeman, Esq. has been a practicing employment law attorney foralmost twenty-fiveyears and co-founded her own firm over ten years ago. She hasrecentlybeen listed as one of New Jersey’s Top 100 Super Lawyers and one of New Jersey’s Top 50 Women in Super Lawyersfor 2018. As an employment attorney, she saw a need in the market for interactive and engaging online HR compliance training courses based on real-life scenariosand therefore co-founded SHIFT HR Compliance Training, LLCin 2014.

In 2015,SHIFT’s prevention of sexual harassment and discrimination courses were launched. However, in late 2017 Katherin began expanding SHIFT’s client reach and created three new courses centered around the inclusion of Transgender employees in the workplace and the importance of creating a culture of civility and respect in the workplace. The third course was centered on building an inclusive workplace and promoting what SHIFT calls an “Upstander” culture rather than being a “Bystander”.

In this short period of time, Katherin has driven SHIFT’s gross revenue within the last year up 260% and has been able to partner with leadingFortune 500 companies. This revenue increase was driven by Katherin’s eagerness to build name brand recognition across the country. She was selected as a panelist for the exclusive club, Get5, on the topic of sexual harassment and partnered with MetLife and the National Financial Partners Corporation to speak on the topic of Unconscious Bias.Last year, Katherin was a panelist for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York Chapter on "Sexual Harassment and Bystander Intervention".

Katherin Nukk-Freeman is the Co-Founder of Nukk-Freeman & Cerra PC (NFC) and the Co-Founder and President of SHIFT HR Compliance Training, LLC (SHIFT HR). As a dynamic employment law advisor, training instructor and industry thought leader, Katherin is a sought-after speaker and considered an industry leader on the subject of addressing “Unconscious Bias” in the workplace.

Katherin co-founded NFC in 2006 centered around a model of flexibility, teamwork, and an incredible culture of growth and development. Katherin partners with clients to develop and implement strategies to manage risk, comply with the law, increase productivity and create an overall better workplace.

In 2014, leveraging her years of experience as a trusted legal advisor, Katherin co-founded SHIFT to provide innovative, engaging and impactful online training services.
