Since its beginnings in a small basement apartment in 1989, Pink Elephant has grown into a premier global training, consulting and conference service provider, operating through many offices across the globe.
Fatima Cabral, CEO and co-founder, is recognized as a pioneer and the driving force behind the ITIL® revolution in North America, the best practice framework she helped introduce in 1997, making it one of the most desired set of IT skills by employers! Fatima has since expanded Pink Elephant’s scope to include must-have skills for business leaders as well, with the introduction and expansion of the Organizational Change Management portfolio. This includes the first ever Organizational Change Management Self-Paced course based on the Change Management Body of Knowledge by the Change Management Institute. Recognizing the time pressures on today’s professionals, now ALL of Pink Elephant’s courses can be taken virtually, with many offered in the self-paced format as well.
Pink Elephant’s Annual International IT Service Management Conference & Exhibition celebrated its 21st anniversary in February, and attracted 1,500 attendees at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. This conference is known as the world’s largest and most respected ITSM event, and planning is already well underway for the 22nd edition – this time in Orlando! After introducing ITIL® to North America and Asia in 1997, Pink Elephant has firmly established an undisputed reputation globally for leading the way in training, consulting and conference services. Fatima is also a founding member of itSMF and one the of the world’s first Help Desk Institute Chapters.
Fatima’s leadership and strong entrepreneurial spirt has been consistently recognized, she has ranked in the PROFIT W100 of Canada’s Top Women Entrepreneurs for eight successive years, received multiple Stevie awards, and a business award from the Federation of Portuguese-Canadian Business Professionals.
