Nomination Title: Tracy Call, Owner/Founder

Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated executive since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

In just six short years, Tracy Call, owner/founder of Media Bridge Advertising, has built one of the most successful full-service media and advertising agencies in Minnesota, growing her business over 334% since 2010 and billing over $13.2 million in the past 12 months. Since July 2015, Tracy has grown her business revenue 57% (continuing a track record of double and triple digit growth each year since 2010.)

You’ll find Tracy in a custom 2,000 square foot office in the North Loop, managing 7 full-time employees across 35+ clients with over $30 million in strategically placed local and national media under her belt. Over half of Tracy’s employees and management team are women. She values and believes in each of her employees and invests in their personal and professional development. She also is part of the elite, Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global, peer-to-peer network of more than 12,000+ influential business owners, who enable entrepreneurs around the world to learn and grow, leading to greater success in business and beyond.

Media Bridge Advertising has earned a spot for the second year in a row on the prestigious Inc. 500/5000 list and third year in a row on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “Fast 50” list. Tracy also was a 2016 Women in Business award winner recognized for her professional achievements, leadership and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community.

Tracy’s secret recipe for negotiating and buying media is the epicenter of her business model, and her full-service agency attracts so many clients that she’s now forced to turn business down (except for nonprofits like Children’s Cancer Research Fund, Secondhand Hounds, Howling For Wolves and USA Rugby, for which she always seems to find the time, passion and generosity!)

Tracy is the driving force behind Date For Life, an event that allows the Twin Cities’ most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes to be auctioned off at a fun, high-energy charity event. Tracy helped coordinate and market the event since inception six years ago. The 2016 event generated over $74,000 for Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

A major passion point for her besides human rights is animal rights. That’s why Tracy has donated countless hours, time and media buying support to the very active Howling For Wolves organization in Minnesota. With Tracy’s help, Howling For Wolves has executed numerous billboard and radio campaigns, and an extremely successful 50,000 signatures campaign to pressure Governor Dayton to stop the DNR from allowing reckless wolf hunts.

With four rescue dogs in her care and family, Tracy in 2016 joined the board and became the pro bono agency of record for Secondhand Hounds. Secondhand Hounds provides safe shelter, proper veterinary care and daily necessities for animals at risk, while working hard to find each a permanent, loving home. Media Bridge has taken on all marketing and advertising expenses for Secondhand Hounds, giving this deserving organization its first taste at mass media. They also spearhead the creative development and partnership development around a new marquee fall fundraiser, planned to raise over a hundred thousand dollars for the organization this year.
