Web and digital companies have forever changed the way people connect, communicate, engage and interact on a global scale. Users expect information and services immediately, and they want to control the experience themselves. Digital disruptors such as Uber, Amazon and Netflix have mastered great digital experiences, with compelling, cool and intuitive services that users love and recommend.
This has left many traditional companies in a race to stay relevant. The likes of Blackberry, Blockbuster, and many large retailers have lost the battle. Ironically, at the heart of this transformation are mobile operators who have enabled this new economy yet have failed to capitalize on it and are suffering falling revenues, declining margins and are plagued by customer disdain. They have failed to keep pace, and are desperately looking for solutions to bring their businesses into the digital age.
Jennifer Kyriakakis (along with Dave Labuda) founded MATRIXX in 2008. Having spent her career working with large operators, she recognized that the advent of the iPhone and the app economy was going to cause major disruption and that operators in particular were going to have to rethink their strategies. Since 2009, MATRIXX has been developing new technology that has been deployed by global mobile operators such as Telstra and Vodafone who are leading the industry in terms of digital transformation.
In 2016, Jennifer and her team brought to market an end-to-end solution for operators to help them quickly launch digital capabilities. The product, Go Digital™, brings mobile operators out of the ‘telephone’ business and into the Cloud era.

Jennifer Kyriakakis has been working in the Communications Industry for over 20 years in Marketing, Sales and Systems Delivery. Prior to MATRIXX, Jennifer worked for Portal Software (acquired by Oracle) where she was responsible for the global marketing strategy of Portal’s product suite for the broadband and mobile markets. During her 7 years with Portal and Oracle, she also held positions in Services Marketing, Customer Programs, and Sales Engineering.
Before joining Portal, she worked with Verizon International Wireless managing large implementations of billing and customer care solutions for their global operating partners. Jennifer began her career in the Communications Practice at Accenture where she developed billing, invoicing, and payment processing applications for wireless operators. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Operations Management.
