Nomination Title: Huda Ali Al-Husaini, Head of Training and Studies

Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated employee since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

After winning two Silver Stevie Awards as the employee of the year in 2014 and 2016, Huda's social and career life has been developed rapidly since then. Her high profile, skills, and achievements turned her into a well-known public figure and an influencer for youth in Jordan and in the Arab world in a short time, so she was invited by the crown prince of Jordan personally to be accompanying delegation at the World Economic Forum 2017.

Huda currently serves as the Head of Training and Studies section at Engineers Training Center (ETC)in Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) since 2015, she is responsible to manage and develop training process for more than 140,000 member engineers, support 12 branches in Jordan, and more than 20 liaison offices in 11 countries around the world. Currently she is the only female head among 35 section’s heads at JEA and its branches.

Huda did excellent job overcoming many challenges in her daily job like: gender discrimination, lack of human resources with big strategic goals, and leading well experienced team while she have only 4 years of professional experience at that time.

Huda knows how to invest her talent, resilience and skills as a young leader to make changes in the hard times, she achieved important goals since July 2016 mentioned below, having only one team member, a 6 months fresh graduate trainee, and zero budget available:

Huda succeeded in makingmajor developments in policies and processes at the (ETC) in one year, which changed the whole way the center was working for the past 20 years since establishment in 1997:

“Trainers Accreditation System”: Huda created a professional assessment process with minimum requirements and points system for trainers' requests, so only qualified trainers can work for the center and deliver courses. In one year, three updates were made to the accreditation system, then it was generalized and applied in all 12 branches and liaison offices of JEA

“Flexible Costing Model”: Huda founded a flexible costing model, this model helped in standardizing costing training courses and consulting services at the center. This model gave the center the opportunity to eliminate any fluctuations in prices, make different kinds of discounts and offers, and compete with other competitors in the same field.

“20 Anniversary Marketing Campaign”: Huda presented the idea of celebrating the 20 anniversary of establishing ETC, she worked heavily with her team on designing a zero budget marketing plan with huge discounts and offers, though marketing is not from her section duties.

“Youth Mentorship Program”: Huda created a two months mentorship program called “Bootcamp with Huda” to support youth, she supervised 10 unemployed youth and offered them a real work environment at the center. She taught them the essential personal and professional skills they need to accelerate their career and personal success. She also benefited from their work at the center to cover the lack of human resources because of the reduction of expenses policy at JEA

UnofficialManagerial role: Huda was "unofficially" assigned to run the center for approximately 5 months till thedirector vacancyfilled up,knowing that she has only 6 years of professional experience.
