The companies products and vision to use "green-energy" and establish itself as a Green Leader in both products and design is the mission of its inventor.. Karen's mission is to always create products that reduce something & protect the environment. The company has a clear direction when it comes to its platform; create simple solutions, to age old problems and do so in a "green" way, either by materials or energy. In the first launch season, the company experienced growth of over 700% from its previous proof of concept season. Provide a brief biography of the person or persons who lead the nominated company (up to 125 words):

Coined as a "Mompreneur", Karen Smoots decided she would take the reins in designing and inventing a product that not only re-uses energy in your home and is eco-friendly, but is made of safe materials that consumers feel confident using. In July 2014, Karen incorporated Dry My Gloves Inc. and moved at lighting speed to bring this product to market. Being a solo-mompreneur is by no means easy. Karen is the solo-mom behind this company and invention. From fabrication, to manufacturing, to packaging, Karen has accomplished this entire process on her own. For many start-ups hiring employees is impossible. There is simply no budget, so working tirelessly to accomplish all tasks falls on the entrepreneur.
