Nineteen years ago, in June of 1997, a blonde, brunette and redhead got together and decided to create a different kind of agency. It was then that BBR Creative was born. They dreamt of an agency where excellence in client service and creative product was the foundation of their brand, and a place where employees could thrive and enjoy work-life balance.
Today, the partners of BBR Creative: Cathi Pavy, Chief Creative Officer; Cherie Hebert, Chief Executive Officer and Sara Ashy, Chief Operating Officer, have seen their vision through and the dream of working in a “different kind of agency” has proven successful. In 2015/2016 the Lafayette, Louisiana agency has seen enormous growth. They have doubled their staff, tripled billing, added a new office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and most recently, BBR Creative was named the 1647th Fastest Growing Company by Inc. 5000.
This success stems from the agency’s core purpose: to make an impact on their clients, business and community.
During this last year in business, BBR Creative has grown exponentially. They acquired new national clients including Tabasco Country Store and Honey Baked Ham, and continue to serve Louisiana Economic Development, one of their largest accounts. However, no matter the size, each client is given “The A Team” and 100% best customer service. They believe BBR only succeeds when the “client-partner” does as well and they treat the client’s money as if it is their own. This has served them well over the years and made the company successful in keeping clients long-term.
BBR also believes in supporting local vendors to aid in their success and partner with them to give the client the best end result. They honor those they work with every year at a company hosted vendor breakfast. BBR also prides itself on paying vendors within 30 days every time, unprecedented in the industry.
Because of their constant innovative, creative and professional pursuits, BBR has acquired many awards for their work in the last year. Creative Director and partner, Cathi Pavy received the inaugural Jillian Johnson Award for Entrepreneurship in the Creative Economy from Acadiana Business. The agency also won several American Advertising Awards, TELLYs and a Stevie Award in 2014, in recognition of their work on various campaigns.
Since its inception BBR has committed to helping organizations specific to women, children and the arts. Over the years they have served many local organizations and have always had a huge interest in giving back to the community is various ways. Through company-wide donation drives such as Hygiene for Humanity and now most recently, assisting residents of the area after the recent flooding in south Louisiana. Other organizations assisted include United Way of Acadiana, Habitat for Humanity, Faith House, Tools for Schools and Cox Connect to Complete.
BBR champions itself on representing women in business while leading a new path forward in advertising.
