Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated executive since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

Since commencingat the Australasian Promotional Products Association in 2016,Ky’s one self set directive was to ensure that APPA members had a strong industry body to rely upon for business stability and growth.Ky decided that only through multi-tiered external profile raising campaignsand internalmarketing activities, could APPA ensure the continued survival of the Australasian industry, and the livelihoods of its 20k employees, in the face of strong overseas competition.

With avery small team (3)and limitedresources, Ky needed to be both creative and strategic.

Since July 2017 Ky has presented the following success metrics:

*From concept to design, Ky completed the rebranding of industry magazine from a poorly received hard copy entitled APPArition to a hard copy and digitalversion of the newly titledPromotional Products Marketing Magazine. Requests for additional copies of this now modern on-trend publication hasincreased publication volume.The exceptionally positive reception of the publication promptedthe CEO of APPAto state that "it was now a publication the industry could be proud of". There have been 3 editions since July2017, withKy as editor.

*In 2018 Ky doubled the attendees of the inaugural 2017 Leadership Conference with awaiting list for the second year in a row, received 100% satisfaction rating for delegates, 100% stating they will attend next year, 100% recommend to peers.

*Rebranded the APPA Awards for Promotional Products Marketing Excellence in 2017, featuring a new and improved voting and independent judging system, andcoupled with stronger and more influential post event marketing exposure of the winners and their campaigns. It proved a success with a record breaking numberof submissions. The media coverage and exposure to marketing leaders in Australasia that Ky facilitated forthe APPA award winnersset the foundationfor the calibre of this year’s awards submitted by memberswho are leading the way with creation, innovation and disruption.

Many award submissions in 2018have provided the tools to assist making social changes in mental health awareness and youth suicide prevention. Campaigns that have led to raising community awareness, procuring government funding, provided the tangible marketing to enable the raising hundreds of thousands of dollars in charitable donations to cure disease even been the catalyst for the formation of a foundation and a hashtag movement. 2018 also featureda record number of attendees.

*The re-positioning and brand elevation of APPA by Ky in both the eyes of its members and the end users has sparked a73% increasein APPA members using the APPA logo in their email signatures, on websites and in communications with prospective clients.
*Co-ordinated APPA's entry to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission(ACCC)button battery working group designed to reduce the risk of death to children by ingestion of button batteries.
*Completed the re-brand and re-launch of the APPA website
* Created on-trend, modernbranding at each tradeshow and event APPA heldto ensure brand elevation, including at CONVEX -the largest promotional product tradeshow in the southern hemisphere demonstrating attendee increases.
*Membership increasedespite downturn in member based association numbers across Australasia.
