Carlos Ortega is not only the best sales agent at ListenTrust, he is also a role model to his peers because of the values and perseverance he exudes in every aspect of his life.

His goals and objectives are always the highest and he always seems to reach his goals no matter how hard they are. Carlos maintains an almost perfect QA on his calls – above 96% - and his closes are always the best. Week by week, Carlos adapts to changes within the company and always with a positive attitude. He is a great support to his colleagues and supervisor, and anyone would be thankful to have him on their team.

Carlos is a great example of personal growth. He is always giving 100% effort and 100% heart. He is the first to arrive and the last one to leave work; he doesn’t know how to give up and never leaves a co-worker behind; and he is always helping others by giving them tips and advice in hopes of helping them become better sales agents. Carlos is always at the TOP of the list of best sellers at ListenTrust but he also has big challenges outside of work. He does social service with the local government and he also plays a big role in taking care of his family’s business.

Carlos was previously a fruit peddler until he found out about the ListenTrust job offer. He decided to take the opportunity and had two jobs at the same time (proof of how dedicated he is to hard-work). Eventually he ended up working full-time at ListenTrust because of the success he was having with sales. Thanks to his effort, he later started his own business (a stationery shop) with his wife, who manages the shop so he can still work at ListenTrust to provide for and take care of his family. And one of the biggest achievements to note, is that Carlos is doing all of this while going to college to be an industrial engineer.

Carlos Ortega was chosen as the Sales Representative of the Year because of the increase in his sales metrics between 2015 and 2016. Having had nearly the same amount of calls each year, he still increased his sales by 44% which proves that he takes advantage of each call and turns it into a sale. In 2016, Carlos sold almost 300 orders more than the average sales agent.

He is an agent who is constantly preparing himself for the next call. Last year he had 51.6% in sales conversions. This year, he has increased to 64.2%, placing him above many of the other agents. His increase from 2015 to 2016 was 12.6%. While an average agent generates 52.7% revenue per year, Carlos is leading them by 11.5%.

When it comes to orders, Carlos closes 28.8% above an average sales agent (an average agent generates 117 orders, Carlos generates 405 orders). A year ago, Carlos completed 79% in add-ons on his sales calls, but now the number has increased to 90%.
