  1. Provide an essay of up to 625 words describing the nominee's innovative achievements since July 1 2021:

    The engagement survey helps the business understand employee satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and boost productivity.

    With 40K employees in Almarai, 69 nationalities, 9 countries, and more than 117 locations between factories, farms, depots, and the Headquarter. The engagement survey has been shared with the employees as a link via Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and banners, with 5 different languages which are English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, and Tagalog It takes 5 – 10 minutes to complete the survey.

    The employee engagement survey applies the IMPACT model to measure the employee's interaction in the workplace. The Impact approach has 6 drivers Connection, Transformational Leadership, motivation Performance, Innovation, and Autonomy, Each driver reflected on the platform with 4 questions, so a total of 24 questions:

    When it comes to barriers to engagement surveys, one challenge can be getting a high participation rate from employees. Sometimes, employees may be hesitant to participate due to concerns about anonymity or fear of repercussions for providing honest feedback. Another barrier can be the many different locations Almarai has and employees' educational backgrounds. Also, only 7k employees have emails, so we need HR support to reach everyone in the farms and factories.

    On the other hand, engagement surveys provide numerous opportunities. They allow organizations to gather valuable insights into employee satisfaction, motivation, and areas for improvement. By analyzing the survey results, organizations can identify specific areas where they can enhance employee engagement, productivity,

    and overall satisfaction. This can lead to a more positive work environment, increased employee retention, and improved organizational performance. Also, there is research conducted into the existing Experience and the needs of employees.

    We follow the change management methodology ADKAR to develop a strategy to support the adoption of the projects and action plans:

     Primarily, by Creating awareness among employees about the purpose and benefits of the engagement survey. Communicate why their participation is important.

     Next, foster a desire for engagement by highlighting the positive impact it can have on their work experience, job satisfaction, and overall well-being.

     Further, Knowledge by Providing employees with the necessary knowledge about the survey process, confidentiality, and how their feedback will be used to drive positive change.

     Moreover, the ability to ensure that employees can participate in the survey by providing clear instructions, and easy survey platforms with different languages, sharing it with more than one communication channel. Also, HR technical support.

    As a final point, Reinforcement after the survey reinforces the importance of employee feedback by working on the action plan with each business unit then sharing the survey results based on the feedback and recognizing and celebrating improvements.
